Are you interested in how early-life immune systems influence the development of allergy and asthma? The doctoral research will be conducted in the Schaub Lab and is embedded in nationally funded projects of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL). The research focus is directed toward understanding the immune, cellular, and epidemiological mechanisms underlying childhood asthma.

Note: DZL research addresses the high global burden of lung diseases, which account for nearly one in five deaths worldwide. The lab focuses on decoding immunological and cellular mechanisms of asthma to enable personalized treatment approaches, closely linked to the DZL flagship cohort ALLIANCE (All Age Asthma Cohort).
